J. J. Fad was a rap group from Rialto, California about 45 minutes east of L.A whose name initially stood for Juana,Juanita, Fatima Ann Dania, and were backed by Clarence "DJ Train" Lars. Later the group dropped Juanita and Fatima and added another rapper, with these changes J.J. Fad stood for Just Jammin' Fresh And Def.
J.J. Fad gained popularity with the new line-up that included rappers: MC J.B. (Juana Burns), Baby-D (Dania Birks), and Sassy C. (Michelle Franklin).
The group's only Top 40 hit was 1988's "Supersonic," which made J.J. Fad the first female rap group to earn a Grammy nomination. Their second album did not fare as well and the group disbanded shortly after.
Supersonic was, released in 1988 on Ruthless Records. The same titled album was produced by Dr. Dre, Dj Yella and Arabian Prince and executively produced by Eric "Eazy-E" Wright.

M.C.J.B. - Married, 5 children 4 girls & 1 step-son, her son is in his first year of college ant Fresno State on a full-ride Basketball scholarship!! Her 4 girls are dancers and are National tap dancing champions 2 years in a row!!
BABY D’- Single 4 children 3 girls and 1 boy. Her oldest is a senior in High School and very active in school. Her youngest is the boy who is sooo cute and spoiled cuz he’s the only boy.
Sassy C’- 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls. Her oldest son plays football in High School and is very good!! Her youngest Daughter is a competitive cheerleader and competes all over the nation. We all live very normal lives and enjoy our families, we put our families first, and that’s why we have been out of the business for so long!! But now were back and ready to rock!
